Ternion participated in the Defence Simulation Training and Education (DSET) conference in Bristol, England, through its virtual booth from June 5 to June 8, 2023.
DSET is an annual conference that showcases military simulation, training and education, which started in 2016. The four-day event attracts a U.S.-allied audience of military/government agencies, industry representatives and academics from all over the world, but mainly from Europe. Other visitors include members of the first-response community, such as emergency medical personnel, firefighters and law enforcement.
“We’re proud of the advancements we’ve made in constructive simulations, and opportunities to feature our work on a global stage like DSET don’t come along every day,” said Brad Spearing, Ternion president and FLAMES product manager. “We’re excited to virtually showcase FLAMES products – particularly our Unreal Engine Option. Doing so in front of a professional peer group who can appreciate the work on a deeper level makes it even better.”
Participants registered to attend virtually for free at https://hopin.com/events/dset-2023. Virtual attendees can also stay current with the latest updates by joining the DSET LinkedIn group at https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8358011 and receive Twitter updates by following the conference at https://twitter.com/DSET_EVENT.
Through various keynotes, panels and workshops, conference attendees gain insights, while discussing and debating issues relevant to the international modeling, simulation and training community. DSET is a hybrid event that allows participants the options of virtual or in-person conference attendance, and to actively take part in livestreaming events and networking opportunities through virtual channels.
