Job Description:
Ternion Corporation develops some of the most advanced simulations in the world using its flagship commercial simulation framework called FLAMES. FLAMES is a commercial simulation framework that can be used to develop numerous types of simulations. The Ternion team is currently looking for talented software developers seeking challenging and rewarding employment. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and fun team in a friendly office with flexible work schedules; 100% paid employee health, dental, life, and disability insurance; and paid leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced simulations of complex military and commercial systems that will be used for training, testing, and analysis
  • Manage development tasks to satisfy customer requirements and delivery schedules
  • Interact directly with customers to understand requirements and make deliveries
  • Lead, assist, and train junior developers

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or other engineering discipline with measurable programming experience
  • Expertise with C or C++ on Windows or Linux
  • Expert knowledge of integrated development environments such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming and methodologies
  • Experience with modeling and simulation (preferably military or DoD)
  • Hard working, great attitude, teachable, friendly, and enthusiastic
  • Must be able to receive a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance (holding a current clearance is not required)
